Bo Sighting on David Letterman Tonight

We were all camped out on the couch, waiting with anticipation for the first standing U.S. President to appear on a late night TV program. President Obama was talking about his family vacation and they flashed this adorable photo of Bo on the screen. He's something else. They both are, actually.

Bo's White House Jog and Official Debut

Mr. Porty Goes to Washington

This just in -- the Obama dog is set to make his debut on Tuesday!  I don't think I'm going to get much sleep until then.

According to TMZ, he's 6 months old and presently named Charlie (like my nephew!) though the Obama family will be rehoming him and renaming him.

Apparently he comes from the same kennel as Senator Kennedy's PWDs and shares the same lineage.

I know there's some brouhaha about all this but I say, "let the Camelot days begin again!"

Obama News: First Dog Still Up for Grabs

So it seems that the jury may still be out. Time to put on the brakes. 

It's true that some of my cousins can be hyper...the trick is finding one with a mellow temperament who has been well trained. I recommend lots of walks, treats of course, and quality time hanging out with the family. You won't regret it.

First Lady Dishes on Future First Pooch

So the news is out...Michelle Obama is leaning towards a Portuguese Water Dog for her family.

Granted there are 3 more votes up for grabs, but something tells me that her vote is a key one.
