After the initial evening of their absence, during which I stood guard at the front door, I decided to make the best of the new world order.
When they returned, I was not any worse for wear.

I can smell my kibble, pill pockets, post-its, and a sharpie pen.
Either I've hit the jackpot, or we're having a dinner party for my buddies.
