The call of the yellow doughnut was enough to tempt us out to this rock.  From there, Thunder and I surveyed the bay, then I completed my very first dive! p.s. you might want to decrease your speaker volume in case you find her cries of encouragement annoying!

His and His Leashes

Finally, we made it to the beach, where some stranger yelled out that we weren't allowed, even though it was long after hours.

I have to give her credit -- not only did she manage to film our first foray together, but she also held on to our leashes while keeping up with our brisk pace!

Buoy Buddies

I took care of the main water retrieval but then Thunder helped me bring the buoy onto dry land. We're the buoy boys, after all.

Next Time, Leave the Water Rescue to Me

Before the cameras started rolling, she pretended to flail around in order to see if I would take the bait. Well, of course I did! Water rescue is in my blood.  Not so sure about hers though...she may have been trying to encourage me, but she was making it hard for me to swim!

Buoyed by My Buoy

I'm loving my custom-made buoy toy from Maine. It's the real deal and it gets me in the water every time. No joke. I fall for it every. time.

It also doubles nicely as a tug-of-war device, as you can see in the video.

Drinking Buddies

It's hot outside and thank heavens it's open bar. This water is cold and delicious and almost as good as the "Chips on Ice" my buddy Thunder calls his signature drink!
