They Say It's MY Birthday

Guess Mags can now call me her old man!  She was kind enough to join me for an evening excursion so that I could celebrate in style.  

I'll probably reserve my winter coat for extra freezing temperatures given recent news reports. (check out this NPR piece: "Winter Wear Goes to the Dogs.")

You must admit though, it does look mighty fine.

Keeping Up Appearances

My peeps are taking this warm winter wear business a bit too far if you ask me.

I mean, I've always been told, "you never know who you're going to see."

I could be wrong, but I think that once they see this photo, they'll come to their senses.

I sure hope so!

Haste Makes Waste

Clearly, I have cabin fever, what with the icy weather and all.  I was so intent on spilling out all of the yummy-smelling biscuits from the Kong toy that I missed one I had already set free!

Needless to say I worked my way there minutes later.

 

Holiday Sitter

Some have a bone to pick with using the TV as a babysitter. Well, this bone is my TV set, and it can keep me company any ol' day.

No complaints, no not much muss, no fuss, and if you ask me, the couch has seen better days anyway.

 

Berkshires Bear Spotting

This just in -- a photograph of an ursus americanus -- spotted in Massachusetts this holiday season.

On second look, I realize that it's none other than my gal pal Maggie, masquerading as another species.

She's got that telltale face plant / snowy muzzle look that I also sport.

Miss you, Maggs -- don't make me wait until next year to see you!
